UV Putty 0.5 kg is a high-performance, UV-curing fine putty developed for fast and precise repair of minor surface damage, including stone chips, scratches, and imperfections on painted alloy wheels. It is particularly suited for professional wheel repair, automotive refinishing, and spot repair applications where speed, control, and surface quality are critical.

As a 1K, ready-to-use system, UV Putty requires no hardener and has unlimited pot life when stored in a lightproof container. The material cures in approximately 5 minutes under a UV LED or mercury vapour lamp, eliminating the need for heat curing. This reduces energy consumption, shortens repair cycles, and avoids thermal stress on painted surfaces and temperature-sensitive materials.

After curing, UV Putty delivers a very hard surface with excellent sanding characteristics, allowing quick and precise surface leveling prior to repainting. It provides strong mechanical and chemical resistance and can be applied up to a maximum dry film thickness of 1500 μm, making it ideal for fine filling on wheels and body components.

The product offers very good adhesion to steel, iron, aluminium, galvanised substrates, GRP, and wood, and can also be used on painted surfaces, including painted alloy wheels, once properly cleaned and prepared. Direct adhesion is also achieved on selected plastics such as ABS, PVC, and PC.

UV Putty must be dry sanded only and should be isolated with a suitable 1K or 2K filler or primer before overcoating. When used according to specification, it provides a fast, reliable, and professional solution for modern wheel repair and refinishing workflows.
